Murchison Falls National Park is the largest National Park in Uganda and is home to more than 73 animal species of wildlife among which are the ‘Big Five’. The park has three-quarters of the world’s population of Rothschild giraffes plus a healthy population of herbivores which has recently doubled including the Uganda Kobs all of which can easily be seen on the Safari Tours. There are various primates living within its verdant forests like the Budongo among are over 610 chimpanzees, in addition to 451 bird species including 23 Albertine rift endemics. Murchison falls, offers interesting safari activities including a game drive in which you will see lots of wildlife including lions, buffaloes, elephants, leopards, Jackson’s heart beasts, oribis, giraffes, kobs, warthogs, waterbucks, etc. You will also enjoy a nature walks, hot air balloons, boat cruise on River Nile in which you will see a lot of wildlife on the river shores including Buffaloes, elephants, crocodiles, hippos, waterbucks and lots of birds. DETAILED ITINERARY

DAY 1 : DEPART FROM KAMPALA TO MURCHISON FALLS NATIONAL PARK.
Your 2-day safari to Uganda’s biggest National Park will start at 06:30 AM driving along Kampala-Gulu highway stopping over in Luwero District briefly for refreshments such as fresh fruits; oranges, pineapples, passion fruits etc.
Once at Murchison Falls National Park, we drive to the top of the Murchison Falls where you get to have a view of the magnificent Nile squeeze through a narrow gorge of about only 7 meters wide and rapturing into violent waterfalls into a whirlpool about 43 meters below. This sight of the world’s most spectacular waterfall is panoramic and breathtaking.
By 2:00pm, we take the wildlife boat cruise on River Nile, something one ought not to miss once at Murchison Falls National Park. Go ahead and take a relaxing boat ride of about three and a half hours where you get to enjoy up-close sightings of a number of wildlife that lie along the banks of River Nile such as hippos, crocodiles, buffalos, elephants, monitor lizards, warthogs, and a cocktail of birds such as African fish eagles, red throated bee-eaters, skimmers, cattle egrets not forgetting the rare shoebill stork and others. The boat ride takes you to the bottom of the Murchison Falls for another quite remarkable sight of these wild falls. Return and transfer to your lodge for dinner and take a rest. DAY 2 : GAME DRIVE, TRAVEL TO KAMPALA
Wake up for early morning breakfast at around 6:00am and set out for an early morning game drive by 6:30am. The timing is appropriate to catch the nocturnal and hunters before they retire to their hideouts.
Explore the major game tracks, Queen and Albert for spectacular sightings of wildlife such as elephants, lions, giraffes, antelopes, Jackals, hyenas, Uganda kobs, oribis, buffalos, waterbucks, Jackson’s Hartebeests, bushbucks and hopefully the elusive leopards among others. Four hours after the unforgettable wildlife experience, check out of the park and start off your return journey to Kampala with lunch enroute
